In 2004, my wife and I made a decision to pursue a mission of serving our community. We desired to establish a business that would facilitate involvement of our family and also provide a genuine sense of purpose. Prior to this pursuit, my wife and I had enjoyed successful careers in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering, respectively. While we were achieving financial success in our lives, we felt that our calling was for something else. We began to pray that God would reveal to us how we could better serve Him, our family and our community. After many months of prayer, the answer was given to us, or more accurately, spilled on me … coffee! We feel that coffee is very comforting to the physical body, but also wanted to minister to the spiritual body. This is where God led us to place a scripture verse inside each bag of Blessed Bean Coffee we sell. It is sort of the Cracker Jack surprise we all remember as a child. Each bag has a unique truth from God’s word that will hopefully minister to the spiritual needs of the individual every time they open up a bag of our coffee. We love the opportunity that God has given us to spread the Good News of His Son while also providing exceptional fresh roasted gourmet coffee! We have faith that our coffee will minister to both your physical and spiritual needs in harmony!

For centuries, coffee has been something that people could enjoy while fellowshipping with one another. By bringing together two things that we love (God and coffee,) we felt that we had the recipe for a successful business. With the current craze over coffee, however, we knew that we would have to provide a product that was incomparable in quality and freshness. To ensure freshness, our superior quality coffee is immediately packaged after roasting into bags with a special one-way valve. Fresh roasted coffee produces carbon dioxide for the first few days and without this special valve, the bags would explode! Most coffee roasters get around this by letting their coffee “de-gas” prior to packaging it. This greatly compromises the freshness and quality of the coffee. The key to providing the freshest coffee possible is to minimize as much exposure to oxygen as possible. Our packaging allows us to do just that!

Today, Blessed Bean Coffee, LLC continues to grow through internet sales, wholesale, bulk sales and private labeling. Our commercial clientele include cafés, banks, restaurants, bookstores and churches around the country. Due to the unique needs of each of our customers, Blessed Bean Coffee offers custom roasting/consultation to ensure they each receive the precise coffee/blend for their needs, roasted to the proper degree.
